Choose the right time to travel.

If you are on a budget, the best time to travel would be in the summer. Summer is from (May to September). It’s, however, a hot season, but the prices are very low. If you intend to travel during this period go for a good hotel like Grand Hyatt where there are lots of pools for you to cool off and have fun while at it. Prices tend to stabilize after September all the way to April. However, some hotels will have New Year Supplements over the New Year period making it the most expensive period to travel. Early booking will help you lower the cost if you are looking to travel over the New Year period which is full of fun activities, fireworks and the weather is fabulous too.

Know your hotel

With many travel agencies taking their clients to Dubai, unkeen holiday goers end up booking packages based on the cost alone and fail to do a basic background check on where they will go sleep at the end of the tours and excursions. Check out online reviews of the hotel you will be spending your nights in. You surely don’t want to sleep in a room that is worse than your current bedrooms. If you are on Honeymoon, please keep off  Deira, choose a hotel on Sheikh Zayed, Upper Bur Dubai or Jumeirah.

Choose your Excursions wisely

There are hundreds of excursions in Dubai and picking the right ones can be a tricky affair. Know where to shop

Free up your itinerary and do some Mall hopping. There are a good number of Designer shops and the cost of goods there might be high, things, however, tend to be cheaper in the supermarkets within the malls. But if you intend to shop like a local, take a cab and head to the Shopping centers of Dubai. There is one main one in Deira and one in Bur Dubai. When shopping here carry cash, some shops are not interested in credit card buyers.

Book Early

Booking early means you end up paying less and you are not under pressure waiting for your Visa to get processed.  Although Dubai Visa Processing normally takes 3 working days, it is good to make your booking at least 30 days in Advance. Print out your tickets and itineraries and avoid any last-minute drama at the airport.
