Short Overview of Entim Flying Package

 The word ‘tent’ doesn’t really do justice to the 12 new luxury en-suite guest rooms raised on wooden decks overlooking the Mara River. Handsomely decorated using earthy stones, there’s a seamless flow from inside to outside and down to the river. Watch animals moving to and from the river from your private lounge and veranda, or during scrumptious meals at our open-fronted dining deck.

Sit on your veranda and look over the Mara River at one of Africa’s greatest stretches of savanna, with the Rift Valley escarpment in the distance. Migrating wildebeest gather on these riverbanks and begin their migration into the Masai Mara. You will hear the sounds of grunting gnu, hippos, hyenas and lions from your bed at night. These wild animals are very closeby, so our red-robed Maasai warriors escort you to your room after dinner and drinks around the camp fire, where you’ll find a hot water bottle warming the bed.

CHILD POLICY

Children 01 – 07Years (NOT Allowed), unless the camp is booked exclusively.

Children 08 – 11 years sharing own tent, pays 75% of the per person sharing rate per night

Children 08 – 11 years sharing tent with two adults, pays 75% of the per person sharing rate Per night

Children 08 – 11 years sharing tent with 01 adult, pays 75% of the per person sharing rate per night & the adult pays full Single room rates

Cancellation and Reduction in Number Policy:

• 50% deposit is non-refundable
• Between 60 and 45 days prior to date of stay 50% of the total cost will be charged
• Between 45 and 35 days prior to date of stay 70% of the total cost will be charged
• Between 20 days and a no show, 100% of the total cost will be charged

Late Departure Policy:

• Check-out is 10am regardless of the time of arrival
• Late departures after 12pm will be charged $120.00 per adult and $60.00 per child. This will include extra lunch, late transfer to airstrip & game drive en-route

• We do not guarantee late check-out from the tents & this is subject to availability

Insurance:

All guests should take out a comprehensive insurance cover when paying their confirmation on deposit,

to cover them for cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, personal baggage, emergency evacuation back home and money.

Luggage:

Please keep luggage light – duffel bags are preferable. Luggage is limited to 15kgs per person on internal flights.

Residents:

Proof of residency is required on check in, otherwise Non-Resident rates shall apply.

Our prime location along the Mara River is unrivalled for seeing and photographing animals all year around, but particularly to observe the greatest wildlife show on earth; over a million wildebeest, zebra and antelopes migrating from the Serengeti into the Masai Mara (July-October).

You may not realise how rare it is to witness a migration river crossing, because the wildebeest can hesitate on the riverbank for days before taking the leap! But since Entim’s main wing overlooks the Mara River, while the private wing has an intimate bush setting, we see migration crossings from within camp. Entim guests are usually first on the scene, up close to all the action and other top animal sightings as and when they happen, without other tourist traffic around. We don’t have rush out of the reserve before gates close at 6.30pm, or drive for hours to get to wildlife action, because Entim is in the middle of it all in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve!
